Around the base runs a hand-cut marquetry inlay, a small tribute to the artistry of old European masters — Thomas Chippendale for his elegant marquetry and furniture designs.
The box opens smoothly on solid brass hinges and locks with a high-grade brass key lock, built from strong material that keeps its golden color for years without fading or losing its shine. Inside, a removable tray lined with fine Turkish luxe velvet gives a soft, refined home for jewelry, letters, or family mementos.
